Visiting Tibet

Hello:)
You can be surprised that I gave myself a nickname "dalajlama" and till now I havenot put here any pictures from Tibet. I want to repair this fault of mine. Personally I gave myself this nickname cause some time ago I watched a beutiful movie called "Himalaya" and one man told there a sentence that inspired me very much. Besides in my childhood I spent some of my summer holiday in mountains. We were doing there big crossword puzzles that were each year the same. The password was very long and very beautiful Tibetan proverb. I think I remembered these things so much that I called myself dalajlama.
And here are some of above 1000 pictures taken by one American who travels to Himalayah very often. He put them all into his blog. I think they are really great.
PS. I will add to my blog the pictures mentioned above as soon as I can. At this moment, however, I have some problems with my blog and I am not able to add them.

Pictures I took yesterday:)

Hi:)
There are some pictures I took yesterday. I like them very much. They are done in one dying nature reserve not far from me. The reserve is drying out. It is a very sad story, indeed. However, noone seems to be interested in saving this wonderful place.
Lately, I have written one article for local newspaper with kind of appeal to local authorities for doing something with these wonderful marshes that are drying. So many water-birds will lose their habitat:( Does anyone care at all? Will they print my article at all? I hope for it but will someone be at least bit ashamed of what is happening to this picturesque site that should be our pride and a landmark?
We will see.
The reserve consists of two shallow ponds that are almost totally dried out.
The road is dividing them.

I hope that you like my pictures.

My free blogging on free blogspot.com

Hello:)
In this very short, special entry of mine I would like to explain this and that to some people who probably don't understand why I have free English language blog on English language free webside. It is mostly because computers and specially Internet are no doubt US inventions what we can feel each time when we buy a new compatibile equpiment or we pay next monthy charge for our Net connection.
But still we all love US very much and we really appreciate and admire their all past and future inventions. Additionally we feel really big sorry for all these US suicided teachers who toil abroad, US healthcare service and many other people who agree with us that expressing freely your opinions is the most important value of our human existence.

To be continued like earlier soon:)

Warsaw Uprising - 1 August 1944

Hello:)
This time I would like to commemorate the next anniversary of Warsaw Uprising that is celebrated in Poland vastly. When I was younger I even wrote a poem for these all kids and teenagers who mostly fought then and who died for Poland. To be a patriot is something that requires the biggest price sometimes but why the youngest and the most innocent pay it most often.... that is a big mystery for ever:(

Here is a short text about Warsaw Uprising:

The Warsaw Uprising of 1944 — a heroic and tragic 63-day struggle to liberate World War 2 Warsaw from Nazi/German occupation. Undertaken by the Home Army (Armia Krajowa, AK), the Polish resistance group, at the time Allied troops were breaking through the Normandy defenses and the Red Army was standing at the line of the Vistula River.

Warsaw could have been one of the first European capitals liberated; however, various military and political miscalculations, as well as global politics — played among Joseph Stalin, Winston Churchill and Franklin D. Roosevelt (FDR) — turned the dice against it.

This site is dedicated to all those who fought for their freedom in the Warsaw Uprising of 1944 as well as all those who, as civilians, perished in the effort.

Welll - I prefer reading about Grunwald Battle as I can be sincere. I simply don't like things that are unequal and end tragically as Warsaw Uprising finished. I don't like unequal fights and hypocrisy of this world. I don't like historical doom and all these great collapses that history brings with itself each time when it circles its mysterious circle again.
However I cannot forget about history. About this big history of some cities and my own small history that builds my own life.
Read about Warsaw Uprising also here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warsaw_Uprising
There are a lot of links on that side. Also some photos :
http://www.ipn.gov.pl/aktual_powst_war.html
where you can see that mostly young people took part and died then. How unequal fight!:(
I never like when kids and innocent, young people pay price only cause they are the most naive and easy to persuade about the importance of their sacrifice.
I simply think it is not honest:(
Read me soon in more colourful entry:)
I don't like such sad entries but probably life is much more black and white than full of the colours that only rainbow can bring with itself. Who knows?:)
